We have taken out most of the sand, put two loads of mulch in and covered it all in with fine mesh. (I am predicting a cubby conversion in the future too :D)
So the outside snake protection is up.....
Next is nesting boxes, roost and boards for the outside....The kids really enjoyed hammering in the nails.
And Odie really isn't sure what all the fuss is about......
We have been given some great ideas on preparing ^him^ for the chickens arrival in a weeks time. I have spoken to lots of people on good chicken breeds and sometime next week (or the following) we will be driving up to The Poultry Shed to buy some chickens!!
Probably New Hampshire Reds and something white :D
